Application of p-Hydroxy-cinnamic acid CAS 7400-08-0
Used as an intermediate in the medicine and perfume industry; currently mostly used in poultry medicine. Anisaldehyde can be produced by reaction with dimethyl sulfate, p-hydroxycinnamaldehyde can be produced by reaction with acetaldehyde, and cinnamic acid can be produced by further oxidation. This product can be directly oxidized to produce p-Chemicalbook hydroxybenzoic acid, and reduced to produce p-hydroxybenzyl alcohol. It can be used as spices, medicines, intermediates, liquid crystal raw materials, and other organic synthesis intermediates, and has a wide range of uses.
